Theatre Workshop

EduSikh as a part of its initiative to promote young talent has partnered with Atelier Theatre Company to provide online training to 3 budding Sikh Kids from Mumbai. The program will include writing stories, songs and poems, directing skits/plays and video making among other things. All the videos made by the participants will be edited professionally and promoted across Atelier social media platforms reaching out to almost 20,000 audiences.

The participants are Bani Kaur Chopra (12) ; Japmeet Singh (14) and Aseempreet Kaur (8).

Atelier Theatre is a leading theatre company based out of New Delhi founded by Kuljeet Singh. Known for his restrained performance in films like Margarita With A Straw & Amu, Kuljeet is the founder & Creative Director of Atelier Theatre (2004), a Delhi based theatre company. His vast experience of performing includes several theatre productions under the direction of M.K. Raina, Avtar Sahni, Surendra Sharma, Roysten Abel, Anna-Helena McLean and VK Sharma, as well as acting in Shonali Bose’s National Award winning film AMU & MARGARITA WITH A STRAW, Imtiaz Ali’s ROCKSTAR and Sharad Nigam’s INTERVAL.

We believe the collaboration will help in nurturing talents within the community and also be an inspiration for others to nourish their talents and showcase it on a national scale.
